HIGH SCHOOL MATH, TECHNOLOGY, LOGIC SKILLS TEST (HSMTLST)

The Contest

High School Math Technology  Logic Skills Test (HSMTLST) is a contest aimed at recognizing and rewarding technology, math, and logic and technology skills among promising high school students from the region and the country.  This competition is launched and administered by the Department of Computer & Management Information Systems (CMIS), to coincide with the initiation of new major integrating the existing CIS and MIS programs into a single B.S.B.A program offering exciting career opportunities for business graduates at the interface of technology and management.

Eligibility

U.S.  High School students with sophomore, Junior, or Senior nominated by their respective schools are eligible to participate in the contest.  Principals, guidance counselors, and faculty members of a high school are eligible to nominate up to a maximum of 8 students in total from their respective high schools.    Incomplete or illegible nominations will be rejected.   The limit of 8 will be strictly enforced and if more than 8 students are nominated by any high school, the Contest Administrators will have the discretion to disqualify the entire set of nominations, or to select 8 students at random.   To avoid this, high school officials are encouraged to coordinate the process of nominations internally and ensure that a single nomination form with no more than 8 students is submitted.
